Motivational Monday quote to get your week started. “The worst day of your life is a welcome substitute for your last days.”
Whoever said life would be easy? Like the saying goes, we don’t get a book of instructions at birth.
Upon waking up in the morning, all of us begin to agonize over the many different problems we need to face, along with the ones that have not yet reared their head, but we know they will.
Many of us will allow these problems to captivate our minds, occupy our time, and fantasize about the harsh results (which are usually always wrong). We treat these problems so seriously that they actually become who we are and cause damaging effects on our personalities, our health, and everyone near and dear to us. In short, we become our problems.
Whatever your problems are today if solved will be replaced by others tomorrow and if not solved will be added to the new ones we acquire almost on a daily basis.
We must stop using the word problems. We don’t have “problems,” we have a series of life situations.
Yes, the water gets rough, the sea will swell, and the ship will rock. You might suffer a slight temporary reaction, but we know the calm is just ahead.
No matter what your goal is in life, you will always face life’s situations. Our goal in life is to handle and solve to the best of our ability that which confronts us, not allowing us to drown in rough seas.
Don’t allow your problems to control your life and define who you are.
I guarantee that someday when age or sickness sets in and the end looks closer than further away, you would substitute your worst day of your problems for the present situation.
Live a happy and successful life, handle your everyday situations with strength and positivity – this will allow all of your other phases of life, family, friends, etc., to be more enjoyable. “Don’t die before you’re dead.”
