According to the dictionary, wealth and rich are synonyms. I, however, have my own definition for rich.
We judge people’s success by the wealth they are perceived to have. Again, wealth and success are perceived by most as synonymous.
What is wealth? While talking to a group of college students, one asked, “How do you get wealthy like you?”
I answered, “How much is wealthy to you?”
He replied with, “You know, a lot of money.”
So again, I asked, “What is a lot of money?”
You see the answer to that question differs with each individual. Michael Jackson made hundreds of millions, and he went broke from overspending. On the other hand, we all know people who live on so much less yet they pay their bills on time and sustain a normal life. So then I ask you, “Who is wealthier?”
