Many of us think we know what the means, but the selfish side of the human will not allow us to see the truth. We are born with desires. We are also born with the ability to practice self-restraint. The stronger of the two will prevail and that will determine who we really are.
Desires are costly, not only referring to money but to relationships.
Needs are that which require one to provide food, roof, education, time, and love to our family. Any interfering with that should not be acceptable.
How often do we let our desires, sometimes nefarious ones, interfere with our needs?
