Those of us born with eyes use those eyes to view the world. Sight is a gift. It allows us to appreciate a multitude of gifts the world has to offer. Sight is not something we have to learn. It is part of our everyday function and in many cases taken for granted.
Sight, however, is not the same as vision. Yes, in many circumstances one might refer to “how is your vision,”they are referring to your sight; but vision takes on a much deeper meaning.
