Motivational Monday quote to get your week started. “Appreciate what you have rather than agonize what you do not have.”

If man were born with sonar, rather than eyes, we might be a lot more harmonious with each other.

What I am trying to say is by seeing and observing your surroundings, we have a tendency of comparing our possessions with others. However, what you see is not reality; it is only your perception.

Over the years I have come to realize that all the people I envied eventually disappointed me. You must begin to take stock of yourself. We must realize that things have no emotions and can never satisfy one’s life.

Most of us are so busy complaining about what we don’t have that we cannot appreciate what we do have, the things others cannot see.

In evaluating our lives, the things we have are those that are visual and those that are not apparent. Visual assessment is comparing our home, furniture, cars, and all other tangible material objects. Just keep in mind there are countless amount of people in this world that would in turn envy your position in life.

What no one can compare is our true blessings- health, family, relationships, etc.
